Install from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons . The icon appears in your toolbar — pin it so it stays visible.

Then click the icon and sign in with your SALO Tools account. Do not have one? Create one free — it takes a minute and works across every SALO tool.

• Open the WooCommerce store you want to export
• Click the extension icon — it checks whether the site is WooCommerce
• Pick your format and which field groups to include
• Click Check Store & Price to see the exact credit cost
• Approve it, wait for the scrape, then click Download

For moving products between stores, choose WooCommerce Import CSV — it needs no editing before import.

In the destination store's WordPress admin:

• Products → Import
• Choose the downloaded file, click Continue
• Every column maps automatically — click Run the importer

Product IDs are deliberately left blank so the importer creates new products. Reusing the source store's IDs would overwrite unrelated products in the destination.

One tool credit per 20 products, rounded up. A 400-product store costs 20 credits.

Credits are charged when the scrape starts, after you approve the quote. They are refunded in full if the scrape fails or you cancel, and partially refunded if fewer products are found than estimated.

The balance is shared with the PDF Editor and Receipt Creator. Check or top up your balance.

Detection can fail on heavily customised themes, headless front ends, and aggressive page caches that strip the usual fingerprints.

Click Scrape anyway when that message appears. The Check Store step probes the store's API directly and often succeeds regardless — and it costs nothing if it finds nothing.

Opening the shop or a category page rather than the homepage also helps.

Browsers block extensions on internal pages. The extension cannot run on chrome:// pages, about: pages, the Chrome Web Store, or addons.mozilla.org. Open a normal website and try again.

The scraping engine is injected on demand and needs a live page. Reload the tab and try again. This usually happens when the tab has been sitting idle and the browser discarded it.

Access tokens last 90 days. Sign in again from the extension popup. If it keeps happening, sign out fully and back in — that issues a fresh token.

Your credits were refunded automatically — nothing was charged.

Then try, in order:

• Open the store's shop or category page rather than the homepage
• Confirm products are publicly visible without logging in
• Check the store is not restricting its REST API to authenticated requests

Some stores block automated access entirely. If none of the three strategies can reach the catalogue, the extension will report it rather than charge you.

That happens when the catalogue had to be read by page scraping rather than the store API, and the theme's markup could not be recovered cleanly. The extension flags this before you download.

The text itself is intact — only formatting is lost. You can paste richer descriptions in after import.

The scraped data stays in the extension until you close the popup, so clicking Download again usually works.

If you closed it, the scrape is recorded in your scrape history. Email us the ticket and we will refund the credits.

The extension reads publicly available catalogue data that the store itself publishes — through its own public REST API or its public product pages. It bypasses no authentication and defeats no access control.

That said, you are responsible for how you use the data. Check the store's terms of service, and respect copyright on product descriptions and images.
